My coffee and soda developing (known as Caffenol) experiments were conducted using Kentmere 100 film.
The Developer solution was produced from 4 heaped teaspoons of instant coffee, 2 heaped teaspoons of soda crystals mixed up to 300ml working solution,
  • Developed for 16 minutes at 30°C
  • Fixed for 5 minutes using Fotospeed FX20 at room temperature
  • 5 minute cold water rince
  • 30 second dunk in cold water with a dash of washing up liquid
Once dry the negatives were cut to strips of 6 and scanned in RAW format using a Konica Minolta Scan Dual II
