Cyanotype
My Cyanotype images were originally created using an EOS 30D, then printed in A4 as a black and white negative. The Cyanotype emulsion was produced using:
- 10g Potassium Ferrecyanide
- 25g Ferric Immonium Citrate (Green)
- 200ml water
Once mixed the solution was painted onto watercolor paper and stored in a dark area to dry, once dry the prints are produced by placing the Cyanotype paper on a flat surface in a sunny area, the black and white negative on top followed by a sheet of glass to hold the prints in place during exposure. The exposure times ranged from 2-8 hours depending on the strength of the sunlight.
